"We booked 1 deluxe monkey room for ourselves and 1 banana room for our teenage children. We were surprised that the difference between the rooms was minimal as the price was not. The only differences were the deluxe room had a hairdryer and an outside jaccuzi, which sounds good but it had barely any water in it and the jets did not work very well. Location was good if you want quiet. Security was not so good as it was hit or miss as to whether our door locked and the bathrooms were open! Suggestion would be to stick to the banana rooms."

"Hotel is located in Fisherman vilage, which is very nice, but in a remote part of the beach(not very nice for swimming). Rooms are nice and clean, but no telephone. Also during the night there is no one at the front desk. We stayed here in peak season, but the swimming pool was out of order during our whole stay.Breakfast is poor, everything you order, they charge you extra(1 peace of toast-1 euro). On one side of this hotel is some kind of farm whith chicken, on the other side is construction site. Staff was really unpleasent. This isnt realy a hotel, more then a luxury guest house. There are much nicer hotels and resorts for this price."

"Stayed one night before heading to Koh Phangan. Situated in the Fisherman Village. I thought the ferry to Koh Phangan departs from this pier, however it s not."

"Great if you are French, a bit intimidating if you aren t! It s a nice enough hotel, but there are better in the area. If you are booking a family room be aware that the third bed is tiny and the fourth is a camp bed."

Booking service good as now expected as always use for my trips., July 16, 2008

"Smallest of the accomodation chosen during my recent visit but clean and very helpfull. So would recommend to anyone who wanted to be in a quieter area of Koh Samui."

Easy as usual, text message a bit slow coming through to confirm booking on this hotel but could be because of the location I was in., July 10, 2008

"A lovely hotel in a nice location and even nicer staff. All were fantastic, especially a lovely lady called Ju who was possibly the best waitress I met in my whole time in Thailand. Definately recommended!!!"

"We arrived late at night and the staff was there waiting to receive us. The room was nice and charming, set in a tropical garden like evironment. We were there only 1 night, and it was very pleasant."

"If your budget is around 2,000 Baht a night this is a good option in Bophut. The rooms are a good size with en suite bathrooms and balconies on the 1st floor level. Good size pool and friendly staff."

A fellow traveller sorted this out for me but I am extremely happy with the choice. Totally satisfactory & good price., March 5, 2008

"Lovely hotel with excellent location to beach, shops and markets and restaurants. Lovely hostesses and staff who were helpful when requests made and rooms well equiped with safe to store valuables, fridge with drinks & water but cheaper at 7 11. A short walk away."

"Lovely little hotel. We especially liked the look of the restaurant and the pool. The breakfast was good, with great croissants and baguettes. The rooms were clean and nicely kept. The only complaint we had was the noise--the hotel s next door neighbors have a rooster that woke us up every morning at 4am! The location is good, although it is not right on the beach. The hotel is across the road from the beach, on a nice stretch of restaurants, bars and other hotels. "
