"The hotel staff was superb! Rooms were clean. Bathroom clearly had been remodeled- tacky but clean. Breakfast buffet was full of food, but lacked horrible for a vegetarian.The only veggie items were 3 different kinds of fruit. All the dishes had egg or meats."

"I had the most unpleasant welcome when the girl at the counter was very rude and most UNHELPFUL and UNFRIENDLY. Due to work constraints I left my booking number at home. The girl rudely direct me to their email room which I have no idea where and asked to send my email to their hotel. That girl could have at LEAST be more POLITE, friendly and HELPFuL especially to foreigners. The room was not pleasant too. the room phone was not working and I had to call the hotel several times to complain. On top of that I was charged for the tea and coffee making facilities which I DID NOT CONSUMED AT ALL AS I HAVE BROUGHT ALONG MY OWN COFFEE & TEA SACHETS."

"Excellent service and great location. We have stayed here many times and value is outstanding. In fact, we extended our stay this year. Be sure to talk to Kung in the lobby (just outside of the restaurant) to set up day trips. She is friendly and professional."

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Suriwongse Hotel. It s right next to the night market, which was very nice. It s not far from many Chiang Mai attractions and the tour booking staff are exceptional at explaining what s available and when it s best to go. I ve stayed twice and plan my next stay in Chiang Mai to be at the Suriwongse Hotel."

"Spent a week at hotel with my elderly parents.Very impressed.Rooms large and comfortable, if a little tired.Pool clean.Breakfast reasonable.Staff well trained and friendly.One of the best value for money hotels I ve encountered in Thailand.Only criticism is WIFI very slow.I think hotels do themselves a disservice providing such a poor internet service, better none at all, especially when cheap , efficient, internet cafe s are nearby."
